| Lift pass prices for coming winter |

The Compagnie du Mont Blanc, who had a turnover of 57.5 million euros in 2006/2007, has presented the prices to the Mairie of Chamonix. And as every year, the lift passes will be more expensive: 8.8% increase in the price for the Chamonix Le Pass will cost you 800€ for the winter season, which is almost a 9% increase. The damage for the Mont Blanc Unlimited will be 1250€, which is a staggering 16% increase. The Chamonix Le Pass will give you access to the ski areas Le Balme (le tour and Vallorcine), Brévent-Flégère and Les Grands Montets (except for the top lift). The Mont Blanc Unlimited pass will also give you unlimited and free access to the top lift of Les Grands Montets, the Aiguille du Midi (from which you can do the famous Vallée Blanche descent), Montenvers train, Tramway du Mont Blanc, Les Houches and Verbier in Switzerland. Discounts on the Mont Blanc Tunnel and free access to the ski area of Courmayeur and the Funivie Monte Bianco in Italy are still being negociated. New this season: access to the 4-valley pass included! Don’t forget that November 30th is the magic date, as the Chamonix Le Pass will cost you 520€ and the Mont Blanc Unlimited will be 750€ before this date. Passes can be ordered online from now on, and will be available from the Montenvers ticket office from the 24th of October!!!
