The snowline has been dropping and dropping in Chamonix, and everybody is talking about the season to come: winter. Ski area Les Grands Montets usually opens during the weekends before it's planned opening on the 18th of December if there is enough snow. And Les Houches tends to open early as well. We're hoping it will be the same this year, but if not, there is another possibility to enjoy some early snow fun. If you've bought an Unlimited pass of 6 days or more, the ski resort of Verbier is included in the pass. And Verbier might open its Lac de Vaux area on the 8th of November.
